Editing/Book Collaboration
While editing includes correcting spelling, grammar and punctuation, it is also far more than that. It is about indicating any inconsistencies, researching relevant material for accuracy while carrying out the edit, improving on the structure of sentences where necessary, and assisting with technique - all to ensure that the final product is as good as it can possibly be to increase your chances of being published. We help with both large works and small. We generally do a complimentary edit on a small sample of your writing in order to give you an accurate quote and time frame.
For first-time writers of long works of fiction or non-fiction, we'd recommend a manuscript appraisal (see below) before editing.
